THE 2008 WARWICK RODEO 20 to 26 OCTOBER 2008.
_______________________________________________________________ The Warwick Show and Rodeo Society Inc is pleased to announce that the 2008 Warwick Rodeo and Black Toyota Warwick Gold Cup Campdraft, Canning Downs Campdraft, Frasers Livestock Stallion Campdraft, Ray White Rural Warwick Ladies Silver Cup Campdraft and Pacific Seeds Champion of Champions Campdraft will be held from 20 to 26 October. Campdrafting will commence on Monday 20 October with the Ray White Rural Warwick Ladies Silver Cup Campdraft. Rodeo action will commence on Friday 24 October and continue until Sunday evening 26 October. Finals for Rodeo events and the Black Toyota Warwick Gold Cup Campdraft will be on Sunday. There will be live entertainment at the bar until late on Friday and Saturday nights.
A Talent Quest and Fashion Parade will be held on Wednesday night 22 October. Entrants for the Talent Quest must be 18 years of age and over. Nominations can be made at the Warwick Show and Rodeo Office. A comprehensive program will be released within the next few months.
PRIME CATTLE AND PRIME LAMB HOOF AND HOOK COMPETITIONS The 46th Prime Cattle Hoof and Hook Competition will be held on 1 to 4 October 2008. The Prime Lamb Hoof and Hook Competition will be held on 17 to 19 September 2008.
RODEO QUEEN QUEST
There are five categories in the Rodeo Queen Quest -
Tiny Tot Girls (5 years to 7 years)
Tiny Tot Boys (5 years to 7 years)
Junior Cowgirl (8 years to 13 years)
Rodeo Princess (14 years to 17 years)
Rodeo Queen (18 years to 30 years)
Ages as at 11 October 2008.
Great prizes for each category winner. Also Horsemanship for each category and Miss Personality and Miss Appearance in older age categories. There is also an Overall Fundraiser (taken from all categories).
Entries close Friday 3 October 2008.
Judging on Saturday 11 October 2008 and winners announced at Presentation Evening on Saturday night 11 October 2008.
